| Alex Iwobi played at No.10 for Arsenal against Crystal Palace |
Iwobi, 20, was hugely impressive as he stood in for the ill German in Sunday’s 2-0 win over Crystal Palace.
Boss Arsene Wenger raved about the youngster’s performance for the Gunners in the position, with Iwobi part of the move which led to Olivier Giroud’s stunning scorpion-kick opener before heading home the second himself.
The Frenchman now has to decide whether to recall Ozil for the visit to Bournemouth tonight, with his decision to take Iwobi off in the 77th minute suggesting he wanted to keep him fresh for the Cherries.
Iwobi has been used as a winger before but the Nigerian international revealed the No.10 spot is his preferred position.
